Coleman Heritage, Arts, and Preservation Society (CHAPS) is a 501(c)(3) agency formed in 2000.

Mission

CHAPS is community-focused and dedicated to the establishment of a cultural center to provide facilities, inspirational events, and training in the arts for individuals and groups of all ages in and around Coleman County.

Organization

CHAPS is organized under four pillars that support its mission:

• Arts
• Heritage
• Events
• Education

In addition to building the four pillars, CHAPS is responsible for maintaining and improving Heritage Hall — the physical space that houses the Coleman Museum and the Gallery.
